- Inspect saw daily for excessive wear, core cracking and arbor damage. Replace any blade showing signs of damages.
- When mounting blade, clean arbor and flanges and inspect for damage. Fit blade onto arbor shaft between inner and outer flanges and tightens the nut securely.
- Do not place any part of the body in line with the blade while it is operating. Keep guards in place while operating saw.
- Wet cutting blades must be used with water. Wet cutting must only be performed with State Electricity Authority approved machines.
- Sawing generates dust which may cause irritation to eyes, skin and respiratory tract. Always employ dust control and protection appropriate to the material being cut.
- Comply with American National Standards Safety Code (ANSI) B7.1 and B7.5 and Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) regulations, especially regarding approval Institute Safety Guards, Flanges, Mounting Procedures, and General Operation Rules for handling, storage and inspection machines conditions. Sawing generates dust and excessive air dust may cause irritation to eyes, skin and respiratory tract to avoid breathing impairment always employ dust controls and protection suitable to the material being cut or drill in accordance with OSHA (29 CFR Part 1910.1200).
